Felixstowe Radio

There's a plan to create a rail transit system for Felixstowe using the existing rail network, with a new link to the shore of the river Orwell beside Landguard Fort where there will be a station, the Landguard Barbican Terminus. This line would create a new halt at the Port, a station at Beach Station Road, two new halts at Central Beach and Deben School Village, Walton and Christchurch, then to the existing station at Trimley with new halts at Trimley St Martin and Trimley All Saints then to a new terminus at Levington, which would have a park and ride and a lorry park, for use with Operation Stack.

It's proposed that services would run from Landguard to Levington, with other services running from Great Eastern Square to Levington, and to Landguard Terminus.
