Listen to our interview

Hachfest is this Friday, Saturday and Sunday: plenty of local bands there to entertain you.

Easy to get to: A12 turn off to Framlingham - and you can't miss it.

A great charity event: money goes to East Anglian Air Ambulance, St Elizabeth Hospice and Childrens Eye Cancer.

Local News - Information
Where Soldiers Sleep Landguard Fort's stones and stories come alive in this re-imagining of East Anglia's past. Love stories, war stories, ghost stories and more are woven together by The Heritage Arts Company to create a frighteningly vivid tale of Suffolk's connection with the military.

Who is right when right is outranked? Can a uniform make a man into a master?

This nation-wide company employs local and international actors, film-makers, designers, musicians and artists to devise and create this entirely original, hugely energetic show inside one of Suffolk's finest Heritage sites.

Show contains cinematics, dance, fire, smoke, and possibly disturbing scenes (not recommended for under 14s). The show requires good mobility, and warm clothes – part of the performance is outside.

'Where Soldiers Sleep sounds like an extraordinary experience, showcasing some great home grown talent and set in the atmospheric and slightly eerie Landguard Fort, which is fast becoming an arts hub for the town. An evening not to be missed.'
- Rachel Nightingale, Arts Co-ordinator - Suffolk Coastal District Council
